What this rule actually does
MT5 availability changed fast after 2024, when MetaQuotes pressured prop firms off its platform and many moved to cTrader, DXtrade, Match-Trader or TradeLocker. A firm that still offers MT5 usually does so through a broker partner, which is worth knowing: the broker environment, not the firm, sets your spreads and execution.
