What this rule actually does
cTrader became the most common MT5 replacement in forex prop trading. It reports equity and floating P/L the same way on every firm that uses it, which makes a daily-loss rule measured on equity behave consistently across firms — one fewer variable when you compare drawdown rules. Whether the firm measures on balance or equity is still recorded per plan below.
